2/            Minutes

Fiona proposed and Liam seconded the adoption of the minutes of April 2010 meeting.

 

3/            Matters Arising.

Liam showed the members a copy of the letter he had sent to the Town Engineer. The letter outlines a cycle route linking the DkIT, all the town’s post primary schools, and some of the town’s primary schools to the main residential areas in Dundalk.

 

4/            Meeting.

Liam said that Mr. Ahere T.D. had not been available to meet him and that he would seek a meeting with him this month. The members reviewed and edited the letter which Liam will give to the Minister.

 

5/            Finance.

Garret gave €80 of the DCA’s funds to the new treasurer, Fionla who will open a Post Office account for the DCA’s funds.

 

6/         Cooley Route.

The meeting decided to suggest one cycle route for Cooley. The alternative following the route of the former railway would prove too expensive. The route recommend by the DCA has been devised by Ollan and Garret.

 

7/         A.O.B.

            There was no A.O.B. 

 

9/         Next Meeting

The next meeting will be on Wednesday  2nd June 2010  from 8:00 to 9:30 in Liam’s house.
